ReGen250 is an eleven year-old, award-winning non-profit based in Philadelphia.  First Capital Garden is registered with the IRS and the PA Secretary of State as an official Doing Business As chapter of ReGen250 with its own bank account and CPA oversight.

ReGen250 received IRS certification of its status as a  501(c)3  public charity effective July7, 2011..  Contributions to ReGen250 are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code and may include gifts, bequests, devises or transfers.

GuideStar is one of the nation's most trusted rating agencies for non-profits.  During 2022, we will be applying for Platinum rating, Guidestar's highest, on the strength of a revamped governance structure tied more closely to the First Capital. Garden initiative.

Singled out by Wikipedia as a notable achievement, ReGen's China Partnership of Greater Philadelphia chapter was competitively selected as a U.S. EcoPartner by the U.S. Departments of State and Energy in 2014 and retained that status until 2021 when the government program concluded.

As the founding partner for First Capital Garden, ReGen250 is actively looking for a nationally-known non-profit partner to join as an operational partner in 2022.  The goal is to serve the mission of both organizations by adding organizational depth and financial capacity to First Capital Garden's program development and grant applications.
